Operations Manager
OVERVIEW:
Initially hired as an elevator host, I eventually managed daily operations, reservations, and events for Chicago’s top-grossing rooftop venue, leading a 60+ person team and delivering high-profile nightlife and event experiences.


Challenges:
• Managing Chicago’s highest-volume rooftop bar, balancing high guest demand with service quality.
• Coordinating red-carpet events and daily BEOs while maintaining operational consistency.
• Leading a large front- and back-of-house team in a high-pressure, competitive nightlife market.
STRATEGY:
• Implemented streamlined operations and SOPs to ensure seamless daily service across departments.
• Collaborated closely with the Events and Sales teams to align preparation and execution of premium events.
• Trained and supervised 60+ staff, instilling hospitality standards and ensuring efficiency under pressure.

RESULTS:
• ROOF ranked #1 Bar/Club in Chicago (2012 & 2013) by Nightclub & Bar Top 100.
• Named 2013 Dayclub of the Year by Nightclub & Bar Awards.
• Developed and Launched "ROOF Sundays" Series, Chicago's first large-scale Sunday day party, driving +15% in Annual Revenue
